SIMATIC DP, Elektronikmodul für ET 200S, 4 F-DO PROFIsafe, DC 24V/2A, 30mm Baugrösse, bis PL E (ISO 13849), bis SIL 3 (IEC 61508), auch einsetzbar in PROFINET-Konfigurationen mit IM 151-3 HF. SIMATIC ET 200S ist ein modular aufgebautes, skalierbares, dezentrales Peripheriesystem, das insbesondere für den Einbau in kleinen maschinennahen Schaltkästen konzipiert ist. Die Module können entweder direkt an eine ET 200S IM mit CPU-Funktionalität gesteckt oder via PROFINET oder PROFIBUS an eine Zentralsteuerung angeschlossen werden. SIMATIC ET 200S kann mit bis zu 64 Peripheriemodulen ausgebaut werden, die in beliebiger Kombination gesteckt werden können. Das System bietet ein umfangreiches Spektrum an Baugruppen. Viele Module sind zudem in verschiedenen Ausprägungsstufen verfügbar, was die Skalierbarkeit bezüglich Funktionalität und Preis deutlich verbessert. So stehen neben Modulen mit Standardfunktionalität (ST) auch solche mit erweitertem Funktionsumfang und Diagnose (HF High Feature/ HS High Speed) zur Verfügung. Der Vorteil des ET 200S Systems liegt in der einfachen Anwendbarkeit, wie zum Beispiel durch die Möglichkeit, Modul- und Klemmenboxwechsel im laufenden Betrieb vorzunehmen. Durch das sogenannte Hot Swapping werden Verfügbarkeit und Produktivität der Maschine deutlich erhöht.
