The heavier chord sound will captivate you with the sensation like shaking the air. The overhanging lower cover is proof of the loudness. It is necessary to increase the amplitude of the reed in order to obtain a sufficient volume in the low tone, and the cover is enlarged according to the amplitude of the reed, resulting in this unique form. The point that is able to obtain a larger amplitude is the high airtightness due to high-precision machining. Since the airtightness is high and the air does not leak, the blown air directly reaches to the reed and it vibrates well.
