Im Jahr 2002 lag der Materialverbrauch in der Maschinenbauindustrie bei 39,2% und bei der Automobilindustrie bei 52,7%. 2 Somit verursacht der Inputfaktor "Material" ein Großteil der Kosten in den Unternehmungen dieser Branche. Doch berücksichtigt werden muss auch der qualitative Aspekt. Die Qualität des Endprodukts ist in starkem Maße abhängig von der Güte der bezogenen Einsatzgüter.Hinzu kommen weitere Aspekte und Entwicklungstendenzen. So nimmt die Fertigungstiefe in vielen Branchen mehr und mehr ab. In der Automobilindustrie sank sie von 37 % im Jahr 1980 auf 24 % im Jahr 2002. 3 Das Outsourcen von Produktion und Dienstleistung nimmt immer mehr zu. Zunehmend fällen Unternehmen "Make or Buy" Entscheidungen gegen eine eigene Produktion und für einen externen Zukauf. So konnten die deutschen Automobilzulieferer den Umsatz von 17 Mrd. Euro im Jahr 1981 auf 64,4 Mrd. im Jahr 2004 steigern. 4 Weitere Entwicklungstendenzen in der Beschaffung sind eine Konzentration auf wenige Lieferanten, eine Fokussierung der Lieferantenförderung und eine Netzwerkbildung über Unternehmensgrenzen hinaus.

Die einführenden Worte bringen die Problematik der Beschäftigung mit der etruskischen Geschichte auf den Punkt und belegen die Relevanz der Beschäftigung mit der Thematik. Die frührömische Geschichte bis zur Eroberung durch die Kelten 387 v. Chr. ist dabei an die der Etrusker geknüpft, was allein die geographische Nähe bedingte, denn die zu betrachtende südetruskische Stadt Veji und Rom waren nur durch den Tiber und eine Entfernung von etwa 18 km getrennt. Für eine Ausbreitung auf der italienischen Halbinsel schien für Rom deshalb eine Konfrontation mit dem nördlich von Rom gelegenen Etrurien und vor allem mit der Stadt Veji unausweichlich. Da in dem Zitat auf die Einseitigkeit der Informationen über die Etrusker hingewiesen wurde, nämlich hauptsächlich aus römischer und griechischer Perspektive, ist gerade diese Seite der Überlieferung kritisch zu betrachten. Deshalb soll in dieser Arbeit im Hinblick auf die Konfrontation zwischen Rom und Veji herausgefunden werden, ob diese einen wirklichen Existenzkampf zweier Großmächte darstellte oder nur in der römischen Überlieferung zur Schaffung einer eigenen Identität diente? Um diese Frage zu beantworten wurden verschiedene literarische Quellen und der archäologische Befund für die Geschichte der Etrusker im allgemeinen und für Veji im Speziellen genutzt, auch wenn die Ergiebigkeit dieses Materials auf den ersten Blick gering erscheint. Nach der Analyse der verschiedenen Quellen und die Wahrnehmung Vejis in Rom wurden das Verhältnis der beiden bedeutenden Städte und ihre militärische Konfrontation bis zum Anfang des vierten Jahrhunderts v. Chr. analysiert, um die beiden Befunde mit dem geschichtlichen Verlauf in Verbindung zu bringen.

People all over the world followed the history of mistrust and suspiciousness against the Arabic nation by member states of the United Nations' Security Council on television. No accusation has been proven by the United States down to the present day. But how comes that the larger part of the world stepped onto the side of the United States and supported war without a clear reason? This term paper is concerned with the effects of globalization on democratic values, the interrelation of politics and mass media, and the consequences on media's function as independent arbitrator and on any individual's freedom of thought. The aim of my term paper is to analyze the mechanisms in force which lead to readymade judgements for the majority of the population in Western societies. To proof my thesis I will carry out herein that the opinion of the world population is being manipulated backdoor by the foreign policy makers of the United States for the compliance with their values. Hence I provide the reader with an overview of the drivers of globalization and the subsequent development of international forces out of reach of democratic decision at the grass-roots level. The supremacy of Western oriented values within these global powers is highlighted. Then the news flow throughtout the world is discussed in detail and the roles of the media for society and its influence on the individual are presented. Human behaviour is evaluated in sociological terms.
