Set enthält2x Mepilex® XT Schaumverband 5 x 5 cm 5 StMepilex® XT ist ein weicher und äußerst anpassungsfähiger Schaumverband(1), der ein feuchtes Wundmilieu aufrechterhält. Dank der wundseitigen Kanäle werden alle Arten von Exsudat effektiv aufgenommen, selbst hochvisköses Exsudat. Safetac versiegelt die Wundränder, verhindert das Austreten von Exsudat auf die wundumgebende Haut und minimiert so das Mazerationsrisiko(1-3). Safetac ermöglicht zudem einen Wechsel des Verbands, ohne dass die Wunde oder die umgebende Haut geschädigt oder der Patient zusätzlichen Schmerzen ausgesetzt wird. Mepilex XT absorbiert mehr Exsudat in kürzerer Zeit als andere Schaumverbände(3,4). Die speziellen Kanäle sind weit genug für hochvisköses Exsudat. Sie leiten es vom Wundbett weg und verteilen es seitlich über den Schaum, wo es absorbiert wird(3). Verbände mit Safetac minimieren klinisch nachweislich eine Schädigung der Wunde und die Schmerzen für den Patienten (1,5,6).
