Herbert Grönemeyer über den Film und Soundtrack: "Es ist ein ruhiges kluges Buch. Es wurde eine sehr bewegte, spannende Arbeit mit Anton Corbijn, der ein guter Freund und ein toller Regisseur ist. Es war die Herausforderung dem Film mit den wundervollen Schauspielern wie Philip Seymour Hoffman, Nina Hoss, Willem Dafoe, daniel Brühl, Rachel McAdams, einen Puls und einen Verstecken Takt zugeben.
