Das kooperative Langzeitvorhaben „Die altägyptische Nekropole von Assiut: Dokumentation und Interpretation“ wurde in den Jahren 2005 bis 2019 von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft gefördert. Andrea Kilian untersucht in Band 12 des Asyut Projects die Keramikfunde der Ersten Zwischenzeit und des Mittleren Reiches (~ 2200 – 1700 v.Chr.), die in 16 Schacht- und Felsgräbern im Bereich der Nekropole des Gebel Assiut al-gharbi aufgefunden wurden. Neben der erstmaligen Dokumentation und Auswertung bisher noch unpublizierten Materials wird das Korpus der Gefäßtypen von Assiut im Vergleich mit denen anderer Regionen des Niltals zusammengestellt und detailliert analysiert. Durch diese überregionale typologisch-komparative Vorgehensweise wird das Material in seiner ganzen Breite erschlossen und in einen chronologischen Kontext eingegliedert. Zudem fließen Überlegungen zur strukturellen Zusammenstellung der individuellen keramischen Grabensembles und zu Funktionsbereichen der keramischen Beigaben in die Untersuchung mit ein. Mit der Einbeziehung des Materials aus Altgrabungen, das sich heute in zahlreichen europäischen Museen befindet, erfährt die Auswertung eine zusätzliche Validierung. Die Studie erschließt und kontextualisiert neues Material aus dem unterrepräsentierten Befund Mittelägyptens und trägt damit zum tiefergehenden Verständnis der altägyptischen Gefäßentwicklung bei.

The Proceedings present the contributions to the 13th International Kant Congress which was held at the University of Oslo, August 6-9, 2019. The congress, which hosted speakers from more than thirty countries and five continents, was dedicated to the topic of the court of reason. The idea that reason stands before itself as a tribunal characterizes the whole of Kant's critical project. Without such a court, reason falls into conflict with itself. With such a court in place, however, it may succeed in establishing the possibility and limits of metaphysics, ethics, aesthetics, law and science. The idea of reason being its own judge is not only pivotal to a proper understanding of Kant's philosophy, but can also shed light on the burgeoning fields of meta-philosophy and philosophical methodology. The 2019 Kant Congress put special emphasis on Kant's methodology, his account of conceptual critique, and the relevance of his ideas to current issues in especially political philosophy and the philosophy of law. Additional sections discussed a wide range of topics in Kant's philosophy. The study was employed a descriptive survey research method. Ten sample youth projects were selected, from twenty-four youth handball projects using stratified and purposive sampling technique. Thus, the samples of this study were 50 players, 10 coaches and 32 sport administrative officials. The data was collected through questionnaire and observation checklist and thus, analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative methods by describing statements and frequency counts and percentages. The specific objectives of this study were to describe the current practices in implementation of handball coaching manuals, to identify the challenges that hindered the effective implementation of handball coaching manuals and to find out how quality of coaches can affect the implementation of handball coaching manuals. It also verifies how management and organization of the training program can affect the implementation of handball coaching manuals.

Initially named the "Grand Hôtel du Louvre" (1855-1880), it later became the "Grands Magasins du Louvre" (1880-1978) and then the "Louvre des Antiquaires" (1978-2019). For the Fondation Cartier, Jean Nouvel completely reshaped and re habilitated the building's interior spaces to offer a modular architectural machine to the service of artistic creativity. After almost five years of work, the Fondation Cartier reveals Jean Nouvel's architectural project in a lavishly illustrated book. Featuring numerous photographs of the exterior and interior spaces, it traces the building's unique history and explores the technical specificities of Jean Nouvel's architectural device. The major projects that have marked the architect's career are also discussed, including those designed for the Fondation Cartier and for other exhibition venues in France and around the world. The Making of Macboef ist nicht eine Art Arbeitsprotokoll bei meinem Verfassen meiner freien MacbethBearbeitung namens "Macboef", oder hat irgendwelchen direkten Bezug zu Shakespeare´s Macbeth. Wie ich auch in meinem Vorwort zu "Macboef" geschrieben habe, so gebe ich dies folgend auch hier in The Making of Macboef wider: Den Macboef habe ich erarbeitet auf Grundlage des im Internet zur Verfügung gestellten Project Gutenberg Etext of Macbeth by Shakespeare: Macbeth by William Shakespeare [Collins edition] November, 1998 [Etext #1533] gu001533.pdf, wobei ich diesen Historischen Text unter Abänderung der Namen der Personen der Handlung und unter beträchtlichen von mir vorgenommenen Zusätzen sowie stellenweise erheblichen von mir vorgenommenen Handlungsänderungen soweit es mEs irgend möglich war, im Original beizubehalten. Daß diese freie Bearbeitung des Shakespearschen Macbeth nicht direkt ins Hochmittelalter zu verorten ist, und daß mir, besonders bei systematischen Textveränderungen (Modifizierungen), einige Fehler unterlaufen sein können, die ich übersehen habe, bitte ich hiermit zu entschuldigen. Jay Bernard is the author of the pamphlets Your Sign is Cuckoo, Girl (Tall Lighthouse, 2008), English Breakfast (Math Paper Press, 2013) and The Red and Yellow Nothing (Ink Sweat & Tears Press, 2016), which was shortlisted for the Ted Hughes Award 2017. A film programmer at BFI Flare and an archivist at Statewatch, they also participated in ¿The Complete Works II¿ project in 2014 and in which they were mentored by Kei Miller. Jay was a Foyle Young Poet of the Year in 2005 and a winner of SLAMbassadors UK spoken word championship. In 2019 Jay was selected by Jackie Kay as one of Britain's ten best BAME writers for the British Council and National Centre for Writing's International Literature Showcase.
