Zur Veranschaulichung dient mir die deutsche Textgrundlage von Chuck Palahniuks Roman Fight Club. Diese Ausgabe beinhaltet ein nachträgliches Vorwort des Autors, zu welchem im späteren Verlauf näheren Bezug genommen wird. Die Arbeit gliedert sich generell in zwei Teile, in welchen mein Hauptaugenmerk den Ausdrücken Subversion und Männlichkeit gewidmet ist, diese werden danach in Relation mit einzelnen Elementen aus Fight Club gesetzt. Um die kontroverse Philosophie Tyler Durdens besser durchblicken zu können, bedarf es zuerst der terminologischen Klärung des Begriffs der Subversion mithilfe ausgewählter Lexika. Zur Verdeutlichung der Begrifflichkeiten verhelfen die Tagungsbeiträge Karol Sauerlands und die Textgrundlagen Thomas Ernst, welche sich beide mit den Begrifflichkeiten der Subversion und Literatur auseinandersetzen. Darauf aufbauend werden die genannten Ergebnisse auf einige ausgewählte textuelle Beispiele Fight Clubs und Tyler Durdens übertragen, um diese anschließend in ihrem Subversionspotential diskutieren zu können. Der zweiten Teil dieser Untersuchung hat den Anspruch sich mit dem Phänomen Männlichkeit und Geschlechterrollen näher auseinanderzusetzen, die Enzyklopädie Brockhaus und Yuval Noah Hararis Eine kurze Geschichte der Menschheit dienen hierbei zur Begriffserklärung. Anhand dieser Grundlage richte ich meine Aufmerksamkeit auf die Darstellung von Männlichkeitsidealen, Stereotypen und der folgenden Krise der Männlichkeit innerhalb des Fight Clubs und gehe der Frage nach, ob Männlichkeit seine Bestätigung im Fight Club findet oder diese widerlegt. Ein Fazit und ein kurzer Ausblick auf den Vergleich Tyler Durdens mit dem Dionysischen nach Friedrich Nietzsches Geburt der Tragödie beschließen die Arbeit und dienen zur Verdeutlichung und Charakterisierung des Protagonisten. Einerseits setzt sich der Schlussteil zusammen aus der Antwort auf die Frage, ob Tyler Durdens Fight Club Philosophie an seinen eigenen Strukturen und Hierarchien scheitern musste und andererseits, ob und wie viel Subversions-, und Freiheitspotential hinter der Idee des Fight Clubs und Project Mayhems steckt.

Die Rechtswissenschaftler Fisher und Ury entwickelten 1981 die Grundlage in dem Buch "Getting to Yes". Später kam Patton hinzu. Dieses Buch, das im Deutschen unter dem Titel "Das Harvard-Konzept" veröffentlicht wurde, entwickelte sich im Rahmen des Harvard Negotiation Project zum Klassiker der Verhandlungstechnik und zu einem praxistauglichen Leitfaden der Gesprächsführung.Täglich verhandeln Menschen in den unterschiedlichsten Lebensbereichen und Zusammenhängen. Ehepaare verhandeln Urlaubsziele, Kinder ihr Taschengeld mit den Eltern, Arbeitnehmer treten in Gehaltsverhandlungen mit ihrem Chef, Regierungen verhandeln politische Ziele im Inland und mit anderen Ländern. Verhandlungen dienen dazu, Gewünschtes von anderen zu bekommen. Hierbei gilt es, auch bei gegensätzlichen Interessen, zu Übereinkünften zu gelangen. Mit dem Harvard-Konzept soll eine Philosophie vorgestellt werden, die darauf abzielt, möglichst allen Beteiligten einen Mehrwert zu verschaffen und die Verhandlungskompetenz zu verbessern. Die meisten Menschen kennen zwei Verhandlungsarten, harte und weiche. Der weich Verhandelnde vermeidet den Konflikt, und verzichtet, um Streit zu vermeiden, auf die Durchsetzung seiner Ansprüche. Im Anschluss fühlt er sich jedoch oft übervorteilt und ausgenutzt. Der hart Verhandelnde will hingegen unbedingt gewinnen. Konflikte hält er zur Durchsetzung seiner Ziele gut aus. Dadurch gefährdet er jedoch oft die Beziehungen zum Gegenüber, was sich bei weiteren Verhandlungen negativ auswirkt. So sind Kompromisse oft unumgänglich.Das Harvard Konzept bietet eine dritte Alternative, die des sachbezogenen Verhandelns. Streitfragen sollten demnach nach ihrer Bedeutung und dem Sachgehalt entschieden werden. Endziel ist ein Schaffen gegenseitigen Nutzens, das Erreichen einer Win-Win-Situation. Das Ergebnis soll fair sein, dabei hart in der Sache, jedoch weich gegenüber den beteiligten Personen.

Klausur aus dem Jahr 2019 im Fachbereich Lebensmitteltechnologie, Technische Universität Berlin, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In this project, the concentration process via gas hydrate formation of tomato juice and orange juice was considered and the effects of temperature and pressure examined. The results showed that the removal of water through the Formation of Co2 hydrate is an efficient technology. In addition, other processes in food technology involving the formation of gas hydrates were also considered. For example CXF, which works differently than the concentration process? The CXF could maintain apple parenchyma tissue more effectively than FAP. The texture quality and cellular integrity of CXF samples were found to be as good as that of fresh samples. In addition, the study by the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna was considered to see what health-related differences there are between organic and conventional apple juice. In addition, this work provides an overview of various methods for determining the parameters that determine the quality of apple juice (for example HPLC method for vitamin analysis or enzymes). Finally, organic apple juices showed higher concentrations of health-relevant such as vitamin C. Statistical methods and evaluations play an important role in the summary of the experiments and therefore they were also considered in this work. A test plan was set up to examine two different apple juices. A conventional juice should be compared to an apple juice made with gas hydrates. Four different examination methods were chosen, which means that each sample should be measured at least 8 times and the results should be statistically evaluated. Apple juice with gas hydrates was suspected to be of better quality than conventional apple juice because it was not thermally treated.

Christoforos Savva's oeuvre was unparalleled in the incipient Cypriot art scene of the 1960s, appropriating and reinventing themes and styles, while involving references ranging from Greek and African Classical Art to Cypriot handicrafts, Folk Art, Informal Art, Pop, and avant-garde movements. The monograph is the result of a long-term research project that has its first iteration as a large-scale survey exhibition housed at the recently renovated modernist building of the State Gallery of Contemporary Art - SPEL, Nicosia. The results showed that the removal of water through the Formation of Co2 hydrate is an efficient technology. In addition, other processes in food technology involving the formation of gas hydrates were also considered. For example CXF, which works differently than the concentration process? The CXF could maintain apple parenchyma tissue more effectively than FAP. The texture quality and cellular integrity of CXF samples were found to be as good as that of fresh samples. In addition, the study by the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna was considered to see what health-related differences there are between organic and conventional apple juice. In addition, this work provides an overview of various methods for determining the parameters that determine the quality of apple juice (for example HPLC method for vitamin analysis or enzymes). Finally, organic apple juices showed higher concentrations of health-relevant such as vitamin C. Statistical methods and evaluations play an important role in the summary of the experiments and therefore they were also considered in this work. A test plan was set up to examine two different apple juices. A conventional juice should be compared to an apple juice made with gas hydrates. Four different examination methods were chosen, which means that each sample should be measured at least 8 times and the results should be statistically evaluated. Apple juice with gas hydrates was suspected to be of better quality than conventional apple juice because it was not thermally treated.

How Evil Is Architecture? In Tumbling Ruins, the artist Henrike Naumann, the art historian Angela Schönberger, and the architect and design theorist Andreas Brandolini develop a project that draws discursive connections between Naumann’s work ‘Ruinenwert’ (2019), Schönberger’s research on Albert Speer, and Brandolini’s postmodernist design theory. In the early 1990s, the artist Henrike Naumann (b. Zwickau, 1984, lives and works in Berlin) watched the far-right ideology as the predominant youth culture in her hometown. Her work reflects on the history of right-wing terrorism in Germany and the widespread acceptance of racist ideas in large segments of the population today. She scrutinizes the mechanisms of radicalization and how they tie in with personal experiences and youth culture. Studying the friction between antagonistic political convictions sparked by the ambivalence of personal aesthetic tastes, Naumann builds immersive installations that combine video and sound with scenographic settings. Angela Schönberger (b. Kaufbeuren, 1945) wrote her dissertation in the 1970s on the new Reich Chancellery building as a central scene of the Nazis’ crimes and on Albert Speer’s theory of ruin value, interviewing the architect for her research. After the fall of the Wall, the former managing director of the Internationales Design Zentrum Berlin turned her attention to the structural transformation of the former East Germany and the emergence of new products and designs. Schönberger was director of the Berlin State Museums’ Kunstgewerbemuseum, or Museum of Decorative Arts, until 2010. Andreas Brandolini (b. Taucha, 1951; lives and works in Saarbrücken and Petit-Réderching, France) was a cofounder of the avant-gardist New German Design of the 1980s. In 1987, his seminal German Living Room was featured at documenta 8; Jasper Morrison and Axel Kufus were his partners in the studio Utilism International. As a writer and lecturer, Brandolini calls for furniture that elicits or allows for “stories” and adamantly rejects the dictates of functionalism.
