Der nutzbare Frequenzbereich bei hohen Strömen wird nicht allein durch die Bandbreite bestimmt, sondern durch die Frequency-Derating-Charakteristik der Sonde. Die CT6704 kann ihren vollen Nennstrom von 200 A rms bis 100 kHz ohne Derating erfassen. Grundlage dafür ist ein optimiertes magnetisches und thermisches Design, das die Erwärmung bei hochfrequenten Stromanteilen reduziert. Dadurch bleiben hohe Ströme auch oberhalb von 100 kHz innerhalb der spezifizierten Derating-Grenzen über einen breiten Frequenzbereich messbar. Anschluss und Systemintegration Die CT6704 gibt das Messsignal mit 10 mV/A über einen Standard-BNC-Ausgang aus und kann an Oszilloskope, Memory Recorder und DAQ-Systeme mit BNC-Eingang angeschlossen werden. Für detailreiche Stromwellenformen, schnelle Transienten und längere Messreihen ist die Kombination mit Messsystemen mit hoher Auflösung sinnvoll, zum Beispiel mit HIOKI Memory Recordern wie dem MR6000. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt über den 2-poligen LEMO-Anschluss der Sonde, entweder mit dem HIOKI 3269 Netzgerät oder direkt über den MR6000, wenn die Z5021 Probe Power Unit installiert ist. Ein 3269 versorgt bis zu drei CT6704 gleichzeitig; am MR6000 mit eingebautem Z5021 sind bis zu fünf Sonden möglich.
